1. Alabama Power’s Harris Says There Was
‘No Bribe’

Elmer Harris, the former CEO of Alabama Power Company, tells CBS’s
“60 Minutes” that former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman did not
accept a bribe. Could his testimony have saved Siegelman from
incarceration? Harris was never interviewed by the Justice
Department or the U.S. attorneys prosecuting Siegelman and co-
defendant Richard Scrushy of HealthSouth.

Lastly corruption appears to abound in this case: namely Judge
Fuller should recuse himself because he had an ax to grind against
Siegelman and US Attorney Leura Canary, who is married to Alabama
Republican Operative and Kingmaker Bill Canary, should be removed
as a US Attorney since the demands to triple the sentencing are
coming from her office:
