They are the little known Federal judges like Pryor and Fuller, and an almost invisible US Attorney, Laura Canary. They are the famous, like the well-known White House Counsel, Karl Rove, and the notorious Republican operative and lobbyist, Jack Abramoff. They are people involved in business and government who were trusted to care for the public good, but who cared more for political wins. They were so desperate to win an election they could not win fairly, they formed a coordinated network of criminal power and political influence to prosecute Democrat Governor Don Siegelman out of office.
